This policy explains what personal data Vonhalf collects when you visit vonhalf.com or contact us, why we collect it, and the choices and rights you have.
1. Who we are
Vonhalf (“we”, “us”, “our”) runs the website vonhalf.com and is the controller responsible for the personal data collected through it. You can reach us through our contact page or by phone and WhatsApp at +47 900 89 303.
2. What data we collect
Contact form: your name, email address, company name, and whether you agree to receive marketing emails.
WhatsApp and phone: your phone number and the content of your messages when you contact us this way.
Analytics (only if you accept cookies): pages you visit, how you found our site, approximate location (country and city), device and browser type, and clicks on our WhatsApp, phone and Instagram links.
Technical data: our hosting provider processes your IP address and basic request information to deliver the website securely.
3. Why we use it and our legal basis
To answer your enquiry and prepare a proposal: necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
To send marketing emails: only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can unsubscribe at any time.
To understand how our website is used and improve it: only with your consent via the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a)).
To keep the website secure and running: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
4. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited. Google Analytics only loads after you click “Accept” in our cookie banner. If you decline or ignore it, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google. When accepted, Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_* (stored for up to 2 years) and does not store your full IP address.
We save your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage (vh_cookie_consent) so we don’t ask again. This is strictly necessary and contains no personal data. You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page.
5. Who we share data with
Framer B.V. (Netherlands): hosts our website and processes contact form submissions.
Google Ireland Limited: website analytics, only with your consent. Google may transfer data to the United States under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.
WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited): only when you choose to contact us on WhatsApp.
We never sell your personal data or share it for third-party advertising.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries: as long as needed to handle your request, and up to 24 months after our last contact unless you become a client, in which case we keep records as required by accounting law.
Marketing consent: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
Analytics data: 14 months, after which Google deletes it automatically.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above and we’ll respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.
